Play Area Equipment Improvements

New playground equipment

 

Sedgebrook Parish Council and villagers celebrated the launch of the new play area equipment on the 28th October 2018 which was attended by Lady Caroline and the Honourable James Ogilvy.  Also, in attendance were Councillor Mark Whittington, Lincolnshire County Councillor,  Mrs Pamela Bosworth, District Councillor, Mr Roger Graves, Grantham Rotary Club and the Grantham Swimarathon and Miss Lucy Crowley, Allington Pre School.

A total investment of £27,536.75 was made of which £18,536.75 was a grant from WREN’s FCC Community Action Fund. The play area now boasts the following equipment to entertain the children, a 2 metre Steel Swing with Cradle Seats, Two Bay Swings with a Birds Nest Swing, Crazy Dragon Springer, Spinner Bowl, a Three Tower with a Net Bridge, Wooden Posts and Plastic Slide, Agility Trim Trail, Spica Rotator and a Seesaw for 4 Persons

Lady Caroline Ogilvy officially opened the new improved play area accompanied by the children of the village.  Lady Caroline thanked WREN for the Grant of £18,536.75 which enabled the Sedgebrook Parish Council to give the children the wonderful play area and also thanked KOMPAN for the great equipment.
