Local Plan Review

Regulation 18 Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations Consultation (Thursday 3rd July to Thursday 28th August 2025)

In February 2024, we asked for your views on the Regulation 18 draft version of the Local Plan. The Council would like to thank everyone that has taken time to read the Draft Local Plan and provided comments. All comments are being considered as the Local Plan evolves.

We are now seeking to consult the public and stakeholders on the changes made to the proposed housing and mixed-use site allocations as detailed within the Draft Local Plan consultation (February 2024), as well as the new additional proposed sites to meet the increased housing land supply need.

South Kesteven District Council will be consulting on the Regulation 18 Proposed Housing and Mixed-Use Site Allocations and supporting Sustainability Appraisal and Habitat Regulation Assessment from Thursday 3rd July until 11:59pm Thursday 28th August 2025 (‘Consultation period’).

In-person drop-in sessions will be held during the consultation period, where the public and stakeholders are able to view the consultation documents and speak to planning officers. These are being held at the following locations:

  • Bourne Market (car park immediately behind the Corn Exchange building) – Thursday 17th July 10am – 1pm
  • Grantham Market (Narrow Westgate) – Saturday 2nd August 10am – 1pm
  • Stamford Market (Broad Street and Ironmonger Street) – Friday 1st August 10am – 1pm
  • Market Deepings Community Library (The Park, High Street, Market Deeping, PE6 8ED) – Wednesday 30th July 2pm – 5pm
