A52 between Bingham and Barrowby
Dear customer,
We’re writing to inform you of some upcoming maintenance work on the A52 between Bingham and Barrowby.
Our work will include drainage improvements, inspection of safety barriers, road sweeping and vegetation clearance/grass cutting.
We’ll work overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 15 September 2025 to Friday 26 September 2025.
To complete our work safely, we’ll close the A52 between Bingham and Barrowby and work in phases:
Laybys will be closed continuously from 1pm Monday 15 September to 6am Saturday 27 September between Bingham and Barrowby.
During this time, a telecom service will be in place for residents/business requiring access.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place whilst we work at this location using the A1 and A46 via Newark.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout.
We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
