A52 between Tithby Road and Grantham Road - LED Improvements

We're upgrading the current lighting to LEDs on the A52 between Tithby Road and Grantham Road.

The new LED lighting will be more energy efficient and require less maintenance in the future.

When will this work take place?

We’ll work overnight, between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday from 12 September 2024 for 9 nights.

What does this mean for you?

To complete our work safely, we’ll work under a full carriageway closure in both directions.

Diversion route- Eastbound

From A52 Saxondale roundabout – A46 northbound to Newark – A1 Southbound to  A52 Barrowby.

Diversion route- Westbound

From Barrowby - A1 northbound to Newark – A46 Newark southbound to A52 Saxondale roundabout.

There’ll be further works on the A52 at Saxondale roundabout and A5111 Raynesway in late September/early October and we’ll provide an update as the works progress.

During closures, fully signed diversions will be in place and will be available on our website.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout

We’ll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.

Please accept our apologies in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
